Professional Experience
I worked in various departments of the Inland Revenue for 17 years, the final 6 years as an Inspector of Taxes. I have run my own taxation & accountancy practice since October 1985, preparing the accounts, tax computations and tax returns for many sole traders, partnerships and companies. I also advise accountancy practices on technical business tax and personal tax matters, including negotiations with H M Revenue & Customs.
I have been a Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation since 1989.
On 13 July 2007, I acquired the long established business of D N P, payroll bureau and specialist accountants and bookkeepers to the licenced trade.
